Protect your privacy
Please do not email prescription-label photos, medication details, patient names, prescription numbers, or pharmacy account information unless you intentionally choose to disclose them. Most issues can be investigated without that information.
Scanning tips
- Place the bottle on a steady, contrasting surface in bright, indirect light.
- Move slowly and keep the label or barcode inside the camera frame.
- Rotate curved bottles so each label section becomes flat to the camera.
- Review every recognized field before saving; scanning can be incomplete or incorrect.
Notifications
Check Settings → Notifications → Meds Ahead if reminders do not appear. iOS Focus modes and notification summaries can affect when alerts are shown.

Meds Ahead cannot provide medical advice or urgent care. For questions about a medication, missed dose, side effect, or refill eligibility, contact a pharmacist or clinician. For an emergency, contact local emergency services.
